- So here’s the deal. I told myself that this year I would get back in shape, or at least better shape than I am in right now, call it a New Years resolution or just the fact that it’s a challenge to stick to a specific regimen. I don’t think that I’m in “bad” shape but I could definitely stand to loose a few pounds and get back to a more youthful feeling state of mind, who doesn’t right? I was watching T.V late one night a few weeks back and saw this infomercial for P90X, a weight training and loss system that looks pretty intense and challenging. I like challenges and I liked the way this program was set up. So needless to say I bought the P90X system. I hope to have it delivered soon and my plan is to begin by February 1st. I guess I could start right away but I wanted to use the beginning of the month to better track my progress and not worry about having to think when I started 1st of the month works out great for me. So my deal is that I will keep a journal here with my progress and hope to be successful in 90 days, hence the 90 in P90x. Samantha is also going to do this with me so we’ll be training together. She was an athlete all through college and a great competitor so I think that I have my hands full with keeping up with her, I’m surprised she didn’t study something to do with physical therapy or the sorts when she was studying for her Masters. In the end I think that we’ll provide ourselves with some good positive competition and encourage each other to stay on the program… we’ll see…. to be continued..ec
