Weekend Rap-Up | Golf Update

  • Last Thursday evening Sam & I headed out to a photographers seminar in Lake Buena Vista and had a great time. While there, and during a break, we inadvertently met Caroline Nicole from Caroline Nicole Photography. Caroline operates out of Melbourne Beach and is not only a talented photographer but a great person as well. Sam, Caroline & I headed out to Chili’s for dinner afterwards and had a nice time chatting about the business, but more so just getting to know each other and  kindling new friendships. Thanks for hanging out, we had a great time meeting you. Make sure you check out the latest happenings on Caroline’s Blog and website and if you are in the Melbourne area give her a shout she’s love to hear form you.
  • I have to step back a give a shout out to Jeremy Robinson of Jeremy Robinson Photography, who stopped by last week during Adriana and Alejandro’s wedding. Jeremy is a great guy and photographer and popped in for the ceremony and I’m sure grabbed some great shots… thanks bro, it was nice having you there, we need to get together again.
  • I went to my mom & dad’s over the weekend and had a great time. I had three free meals, unlimited T.V, about three apple turnovers with coffee, and some great laughs. My mom’s toe is getting better, if you remember she fractured a bone in one of her small toes, ouch! but she’s able to walk around easily. I just love my family….)
  • I went out Sunday morning and played 9 holes in Winter Park with my buddies Lee and Raul. I think  I did ok, nothing to write home about, but I guess I gotta start somewhere. What really frustrated me, besides the part that I rather just suck right now, is that I go to the golf range and actually hit rather well. But when I got to the course it all went away,  and I left some decent potting holes around the course… oh well plant a tree. The biggest mystery that I still can’t figure out is that every time I got ready to tee off I kept on hearing this little mousey voice….pansy hands…pansy hands…..hmmmmm ?
  • Colombo is no longer licking his fuzzy pillow, I think that this just might have been some sort of cat phase thing.

Annette - Sorry, pansy hands. I didn’t mean to scar you for life. I’m sure in some countries gardening gloves for golf is actually quite masculine. ;) Just enjoy your golf – it’s a deceivingly difficult sport to master (Adam’s trying to teach me). Have a great day!

Caroline - Thank you so much! I am so excited that I met you, too. Hopefully we’ll get to shoot together one of these days! :)
