iPhone & Me

  • All-righty so I finally headed out to upgrade my iPhone to the new 3GS. I wasn’t sure at first if it was worth it, but considering I was still with the first generation model I figured I’d give it a test run first at the Apple store. Well to say the least the new 3GS rocks the socks off of the first generation iPhone and definitely worth the upgrade. Now on another note I’m not one who really likes to wait for stuff like this, rather I say wait in any long lines. So the day the phone was announced I figured I would wait about a week then hit the Apple store. So out I go first to the AT&T store… nope no phones here, all sold out. Ok no problem, I’ll just head to the mall… hey what do you know they have the iPhone in stock but only the 32 gig, for the price and for what I use it for that was a no go. I asked when the next truck was supposed to drop off the next batch, they say tomorrow, cool I’ll come back. Fast forward to the next day. Off I go to the mall, where they already sold out of all the phones. So I figure ok I’ll order online…. nope, no can do, that is unless you want to wait upwards of 10 days to get your phone. What to do what to do. I call another mall, Mall of Millennia, and bingo they have plenty in stock. Off I go to the mall. I arrive and well, I end up waiting for over an hour with the rest of the dorks in line to get my sticky hands on a new phone. I guess there was no way to avoid it… in the rough of it all I’m glad I hung in there and got my new “Sally” she cute, hot and a whole lot faster than my first one…..)

That’s her the one on the right!

Jim and Melissa were married out in Sedona earlier in this year and they’re finally settled back in and back on the saddle. Thanks for the time together we will be in touch soon…ec

    NYC | Out and About

    • New York is such a great town and we love the hustle and bustle that comes along with a big city. Samantha was born and lived in Manhattan and I lived in Brooklyn when I was a young lad. We headed out to the Big Apple last weekend for a little getaway for a few days and it was nice to hit the ground walking and roam the city for a bit. We hope to head back during the holidays to meet up with some family again and rock out the skates over at the Rockefeller. Besides the great food and shopping NYC has great history and you could walk for days and always see something different…. cheers…ec

Jack & Peg Happy 50th Anniversary

Over the weekend we headed up to Pennsylvania to be with  Jack & Peg, Samantha’s relatives for their 50th anniversary gathering. We had great time up north, loved the cooler weather and knocked down a couple at the open bar…thank’s Jack…) I always liked the feeling of northern churches, hard to explain but they seem to have such a historical feel to them and inner warmth. To say the least our time with the family was just wonderful and we definitely need to head up north more often.

P.S. Thanks Donna and Ricky for the wonderful food, send me down a few sticks of that city chicken….!

Great iPhone App | USA Today

    • Ok check this out, I digg my iPhone and all that it does, like keeping me organized, reminded, in touch… and well it’s actually a vital part of my business. Part of the fun of the iPhone are the applications that you can download from the app store. I personally like reading the news and heard about the USA Today iPhone app. This has to be by far the best news application out there and more. Ok my excitement is over but you can check it out yourself here. Later….ec
