I bought Samantha an iPad for her birthday and after a few hours with it I see no reason for me to ever use a laptop again unless I plan to run a specific software program or a CD/ DVD. In most cases for me I use my iMac in my office to accomplish any typing or editing so I’m good there. With the iPad I can surf the web, check my iCal which is in sync via Mobile Me and my iPhone so really I see no reason to ever use a laptop again. With everything being web based, in the cloud if you will, I find my business to run even more efficiently without the need to have so many different software applications installed. Now yes I’m a die hard Apple consumer but with Google you can pretty much do the same. I love the new HTC Evo 4g, I think that phone is solid and I’d probably would switch to it if it could sync to my Mac, but it doesn’t, and I really don’t use Google for my business or personal organization, that’s where Mobile Me comes to my rescue. Though I do use a separate studio application to keep my business organized, Tave, it’s all web based so I don’t have to install anything anyhow. Plus Tave keeps me stay green and not be wasteful with too much paper. I still use my iCal as my booking calendar as well as my address book… got a booking…. I add it to my iCal and boom…it’s on my iMac my iPhone and iPad instantly, as well as my address book, no wires no bluetooth… This applies to anything, meetings, important reminders, even weekends out to get our party on….you get the idea. Heck you could be on the other side of the United States and make an important connection, or make a new friend, just take their picture, add their contact info and when you get home it’s all waiting for you nicely organized on your iMac. The iPad now allows me to carry an extra portfolio to show clients, log into my Tave, surf the web with out all the bulk…..I’m diggin this…..ec

I’ve always liked the woodsy smell of patchouli, I’ve even tried to find some homemade recipes to see if I could make this stuff myself but in the end figured that it was way beyond my level of skill. I’m more of a grilled cheese kind of guy …and… well… you get the idea. Anyhow, a few weeks back while at the College Park Farmers Market over by Infusion Tea on Edgewater Drive I met up with “Soap Chef” Eric Larson of the Winter Park Soap Company. Eric had a huge array of different homemade soaps, scents, and oils and the patchouli oil was one that I was out of so I figured I pick up a small vile and off to the house I went. Here’s just on of the ways we use it in our home…ec

Fast forward to today when we finally met up with each other and what a great Saturday it turned out to be. So I headed out a few days ago over to ULTA to pick up some hair gel, one of few places that sells the stuff to tame my head…go ahead and make fun of me now that’s ok I’m with ya…but this man’s got some ULTA points to spend. Anyhow, I really like the vast selection of perfumes both men and women at their stores so I headed over to the perfume section and found two new great scents that I bought for Samantha. One of them is simply called “CLEAN” the other by “Juicy Couture“. The CLEAN is really just that, pure & clean, they had so many distinct lines it was hard to pick just one, I ended up with the Warm Cotton. The Juicy Couture was just the perfect dash of attitude and felt fun , both of which Samantha is wearing well.
